The movie tells a story of a family couple, John (Tony Goldwyn) and Emma (Monica Potter) Collingwood, and their daughter Mari (Sara Paxton) who went on vacation to their lake house.
Mari decides to go to town and meets a guy named Justin (Spencer Treat Clark) who invites her to his hotel room.
As they go to his place, Justin's criminal parents appear, and starting from this point the bloody story of Mari's sufferings begins: Krug (Garret Dillahunt), Justin's father, kidnaps and tortures the girl, and all her efforts are now focused on escaping this gang of psychos.
